HOUSE SYSTEM
House system is a service cum training organization. Its main objectives are to promote the welfare of students. i.e
a. to promote better student-teacher relationship.
b. to impart citizenship training
c. to encourage self discipline
d. to arouse self discipline
e. to arouse greater school spirit
f. to impart training in the skill of management and leadership.
The students have been classified into four houses. Each house is headed by a House mistress( teacher ) and a House captain ( Student ) to perform various curricular and co-curricular activities.
It is our personal goal to see that at IPS, Bangalore, Your child not only succeds, but has fun as well. We seek the blessing and the involvement of all parents and well wishers as we embark on yet another journey towards excellence and quality education, which has become the hallmark of Indian Public School. |

Government of India has announced 2010-2020 as the decade of innovation. Reasoning and critical thinking skills are necessary for innovation. Foundation of these skills is laid at school levels. The school lays great emphasis on physical fitness of students and tries to provide facilities for games, sports, yoga and recreating activities for all. The programme also includes rhythmic exercise,atheletics etc. The indoor games teach obedience to rules and regulations, promote cooperation and self control. The outdoor games develop team discipline, determination, sense of duty and the will to persevere and win.
KARATE @ SCHOOL
In addition to the self-defence, regular Karate Classes are also conducted in the school premises by an experienced Karate master to build up sound mental and physical health. It improves Self control, Confidence, Memory power, Concentration and Personality Development. |
